

Frank Rocchio was born in Rockvale, Colorado, on April 16, 1935, to Frank and Mary Rocchio, and passed away on May 9, 2025. He married Patricia Rocchio (McKee) on June 4, 1960, and together they shared nearly sixty-five years of marriage before his passing.
Their family included two children: a daughter, Chris Rocchio, and a son, Andrew Rocchio (Laura Beikman); and one granddaughter, Kacey Fink (Jesse). He is also survived by a nephew, Darrin Comstock; a half-sister, Sharon McPhee; and several cousins.
Frank graduated from Florence High School in 1953 and from Western State College in 1957. He was drafted into the Marine Corps in 1958, serving six months of active duty and six years in the Marine Reserves. He later received his master’s degree from Colorado College.
He began his career as Business Manager at Harrison School District 2. After eight years, he became the Assistant Superintendent for Cheyenne Mountain School District 12, for 22 years. He concluded his thirty-six-year career in education in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Throughout his life, Frank enjoyed traveling, golf, tennis, skiing, coaching his children’s little league teams, and hosting dinners and parties with many good friends. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to a community service organization of your choice.
