George was born on August 11, 1947, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to George and Adeline Cobb. He spent much of his life in Colorado and also lived in New Mexico and Arizona.
George briefly worked in the field of radiology before becoming an operator at Akrit Appliance Store, his family’s business. He later worked in propery management and for Boulder County, always staying active and taking pride in his work.
George had a deep love for music, especially hits from the 1950s through the 1980s. Motown held a special place in his heart, and he was a devoted fan of Elvis. He enjoyed sharing that passion with others, often giving music as gifts for others to enjoy, along with his well-known Elvis stamps.
He appreciated life’s simple pleasures: a good cup of coffee, his favorite junk foods, and especially Italian meals, with his mother’s cooking holding a special place in his heart. Known for his sense of humor, George delighted in giving gag gifts and finding ways to make others laugh.
Though short in stature, George had a presence that filled any room. He was known for his warm smile, quick wit, and ability to bring joy to those around him. His kindness and humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
George will be remembered for his lighthearted spirit, strong work ethic, and the happiness he brought to others. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
