February 8, 1930 - November 22, 2025
Tedde (Geraldine) Myers was born on February 8, 1930, in Panama, Iowa, to Josie and Joe Huebert. One of five siblings, she grew up in a close-knit family that valued faith, hard work, and community—values she carried with her throughout her life.
Tedde met the love of her life, Jim Myers, and together they built a beautiful family. They were married for many years until his untimely passing on March 4, 1992. As a doctor's wife and mother to eleven children, Tedde led a busy and devoted life. Her home was a cornerstone of warmth and welcome, hosting countless family gatherings filled with laughter, stories, and the comfort of being together. She was our steady foundation—our rock.
Active and curious, Tedde's passions included bridge, antiques, and participating in many local clubs, including travel groups and sewing circles such as the Meade Menders. She treasured the lifelong friendships she formed through these activities. Tedde also devoted herself to volunteer work, guided by a profound conviction that service enriches both giver and receiver.
Throughout her life, Tedde was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. She was a longtime member of the Divine Redeemer parish community in Colorado Springs and found joy, comfort, and purpose through her service and fellowship there.
Tedde was preceded in death by her husband Jim; her daughter Mary; her son Matt; her brother-in-law, Father Rawley Myers; as well as other cherished relatives.
She is survived by her brother John, and by nine of her children: Tim, Mike, Jane, Rawley, Julie, Katie, Anne, Martha, and Mark. She is also lovingly remembered by her 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immeasurable pride and joy
A Memorial Mass will be held at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 927 North Logan Avenue, Colorado Springs, on December 19, 2025, at 2:30 p.m.
