Glen was born to L.G. "Pete" Wallick and Ora Velta (Snodgrass) Wallick on September 1, 1944 in Abilene, Texas. He was raised in Eula, Texas where he attended elementary, middle and high school where he graduated in 1962. While in school at Eula he participated in FFA, raising and showing livestock at the West Texas Fair. He also played basketball for the Eula Pirates where he lettered. He attended San Angelo State University and McMurry University where he graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration. His early career prior to graduation included working as a lineman for West Texas Utilities. Upon graduation he began his life-long career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for McKesson where he received numerous awards for outstanding sales in both Texas and ultimately Colorado. He retired in 2006 after 35 years of service with McKesson. He married Alice Joan Hurley on June 28, 1968 and was married for 56 years. Glen loved playing golf, dove hunting, fishing and NASCAR Racing and readily shared these hobbies with family and friends. He was an avid country music fan with favorites that included Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Roger Miller and Willie Nelson. Glen enjoyed meeting people and never knew a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents L.G. "Pete" Wallick and Ora Velta (Snodgrass) Wallick.
He is survived by his wife Joan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, daughter Darla Wallick Eason and her husband Glen of Granbury, Texas, sons Jason Wallick of Colorado Springs and Justin Wallick of Lubbock, Texas and daughter Stacy Wallick of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He had three grandsons Ethan Dorsett and wife Alyssa of Fort Worth, Texas, Benjamin Wallick of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Christopher Wallick of Hamamatsu, Japan.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later time in Texas with family.
