

Harold (Hal) was born in New Limerick, Maine on March 9, 1942. He was a follower of Jesus who loved to read and study God's Word and was a long-time member of Circle Drive Baptist Church in Colorado Springs. Hal faithfully and dutifully served his country in both the United States Marine Corps and U.S. Army and is a Vietnam War Veteran. He is the youngest of five children, was born to parents Cecil and Annie Hunter Faulkner of Houlton Maine.
Hal is preceded in death by his sisters Christine Burroughs and Phyllis Faulkner, and brother "Donnie" Faulkner. He leaves behind his wife Nona Faulkner, sister Bea Fleming of Ludlow, Maine and a sister-in-law Carol Faulkner of Hodgdon, Maine.
Hal loved his family greatly and is survived by his son Jeffery Faulkner and wife Kimberly, daughter Katie Franklin and husband Wes, grandchildren Justin, Brandon, Octavius, Tyler, and Brittany. Hal was known for his witty sense of humor and desire to make people laugh, for his generosity in giving of himself, always wanting others to feel loved and encouraged. He will be remembered by his Bible Study group for his love of scripture. He was a hard worker, expert handyman, and jack of all trades.
He loved fishing and greatly admired God's creation. Most commonly stated, he was a good man.
His celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, in the chapel of Dignity Memorial Gardens at 2pm (3825 Airport Rd. Colorado Springs, CO 80910). Hal will be greatly missed by all family and friends, but we celebrate his home-going, as his faith has now been made sight.
