Harold was born in Ohio to Carl and Hazel Hoover on March 24th, 1934. He went to school at Malvern.
He married Marjorie Sampsel on January 20th, 1962, in Elyria, Ohio.
He joined the Navy in 1959. He worked for GM in Elyria, Ohio. NCR in California, Ampex, Digital and Quantum in Colorado Springs.
He is preceded in death by his wife Marge, parents Carl and Hazel Hoover and his siblings BJ Hoover, Donald Hoover, Dorothy Dunlap, Robert Hoover, Martha Schiltz, Geraldine Halter, Margaret Merrick and Arthur Hoover.
He is survived by his five children, Sherry (Michael) Windle, Jean (Mark) Christensen, Rebecca (Louis) Alvic, Timothy (Sherry) Hoover and Jennifer (Leon) Clark. He had 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Mark Hoover and his sister Mary Ann Maruca, both from Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday February 5th, 2024, at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 927 N Logan Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
