

Harriet (Lovett) Raymond, a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on the morning of May 26, 2014. She was the daughter of Arthur M. Christenson and Agnes M. (Anderson) Christenson of Albert Lea, Minnesota. Mrs. Raymond was born in Albert Lea, and grew up there.
After moving to Colorado Springs, Harriet worked as a secretary at Fort Carson, and as a librarian for School District 11. After retiring, she volunteered at Christmas Unlimited. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Colorado Springs. She enjoyed music and dancing, solitaire, cribbage, playing games on her tablet, and spending time with her family.
Harriet, known as Hattie to her family, is survived by two children, Lori (and her husband, Randy) and Robert. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a niece, and her husband and son; a nephew and his son; and the wife, son, and daughter of a deceased nephew. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert L. Lovett, and Milton F. Raymond.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 30th, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Memorial Gardens. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st, at 1:00 pm, and a casket lowering service will be held on Monday, June 2nd, at 11:00 am, both also at Memorial Gardens.
