She was born on May 30, 1925 in Landsberg Germany. She had 3 sisters, Lissi Sieger, Elfi Hettmer and Christa Aigner.
She was married to Stan DeCapite until his passing in 2003. Hilde was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and great grandma. Hilde has 3 children: Carmen Evans (Co Spgs), Chris Kubus (Co Spgs), Curt DeCapite (Co Spgs) and 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is survived by her 3 children and sisters Christa Aigner (Colorado Springs), Elfi Hettmer (Germany) and many more nieces and nephews in her homeland of Germany and in Colorado Springs.
Hilde loved the outdoors. A true sun worshipper. Loved skiing and did so into her 80’s. And if family or visitors came to her home, you could always expect cookies, cakes, snacks and a hot cup of coffee waiting to enjoy. Her European hospitality was always evident. She will be missed by anyone who met and knew her.
