Jace Adisen Bajza, our beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, was called home on June 6, 2023. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place.
He is survived by his mother, Jena, his father, Brad, his stepfather, Gary and his stepmother, Mandy as well as six siblings, brothers Axton, Avery, Talin and Noah and sisters Kali and Autumn. He was the first grandchild for both sets of grandparents, John and Jackie, and Virgil and Trisha.
Born December 1, 2004 in Colorado Springs, Jace immediately brought light to the life of his family. Over the years he grew into a loving young man who brought humor to every situation. He graduated from Pine Creek High School in May of 2023.
His laugh was contagious, his smile was infectious and both are ever lasting. He loved so deeply and cared so fully, something that was noticeable by his nine younger cousins.
Jace garnered a huge love for the outdoors, which brought true happiness into his life. There were very few days where he wasn’t casting a fishing line, trying to reel in his new personal best. He developed a love for disc golf, which fit perfectly with his desire to be outdoors.
Sports played a huge role in Jace’s life. When he wasn’t playing you could be sure he was cheering on and rooting for the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Dodgers.
His style was simple and so unforgettable. A Bass Pro Shop hat or favorite team attire, always seemed to compliment a comfy pair of crocs or cowboy boots.
A light from the family is gone, a voice we loved stilled, a place is vacant in our home which can never be replaced. Although we are apart, Jace’s spirit lives within us, a permanent place in each of our hearts.
“The view is grand and the fishing’s great, but I yearn for you as I wait. I’ll save a spot on the river’s bend, for all those, I call family and friend.”
A Celebration of Life for Jace will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Fellowship of the Rockies, 1625 South 8th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80905.
