It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Carroll Dubois, 72, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Jim leaves his beloved wife, Denise of 49 years; his sons: Jesse (Michelle) and Christopher. He is also survived by his sister Rena May, her husband Robert Moran, several nieces and nephews and innumerable dear friends.
Jim spent much of his life in Connecticut before making Colorado his home. He was a systems engineer in the IT industry. He was a devoted fan of the NY Yankees, NY Giants, and UCONN basketball. Jim also enjoyed fishing and golfing when Colorado's weather permitted.
In addition to his parents, Thomas and Margaret, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and Herman, and sisters, Theresa and Linda.
A funeral service will be held at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, located at 2650 Parish View, Colorado Springs, CO, 80919, on September 29, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Following the service, a visitation and reception will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO, 80910, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
