James F. (Jimmie) Fleming 96 passed away Monday, March 30th in Cincinnati, Ohio where he lived with his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. James was born June 10, 1918 in Drumright, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Petroleum Engineering. He continued his education and graduated from Oklahoma City University with a MBA. James was a former resident of Florissant and later Colorado Springs, where he attended St. Paul United Methodist Church. He served in the Army Signal Corp during WW II in Africa, Italy and Japan. James worked in the petroleum industry throughout his life, and lived in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas and Colorado. He loved to travel, golf, and Oklahoma Sooner football. James is survived by his children, Paul Fleming (JeanAnnette Saulsbury), Susan (Andrew) McGurgan and grandchildren, Robert, Kevin and Patrick. James is preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Plott Fleming. A Visitation will be held, Monday, April 6, 2015 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. with Funeral Services following at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
