James C. McDonald, 85, passed away July 9, 2013 in Colorado Springs. He was born September 26, 1927 in Firebaugh, California to James and Gladys McDonald.
James was retired after 20 years of service with the United States Air Force and 25 years of service with the United State Postal Service.
James is survived by his son Louis, five grandchildren, Edgar, Michael, Jackie, Terry and Katherine and six great grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends. James was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years Marie K. McDonald in January of 2011.
James was a long time member of REA and a past President. Also 27 years in AA.
A visitation is planned for Monday, July 15, 2013, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Swan-Law Funeral Director’s. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., Swan-Law Funeral Director’s Cascade Chapel.
