Jim was born in Pittsburgh, Kansas on July 19, 1921 to James A. and Ruth Stillwaugh. He grew up in Kansas, where he met and married Phyllis (Woods) his wife of nearly 73 years.
Jim was preceded in death by his son Terry J. Stillwaugh. He is survived by his wife Phyllis; daughter, Ann (Jim) Edwards; grandsons Lance (Kristina) Stillwaugh and Robin (Tracy) Stillwaugh; and four great grand children.
Jim moved his family to Colorado Springs in 1961, where he was a commercial real estate broker until his retirement.
Jim served in the United States Navy during World War II. He became a member of the Pikes Peak Range Riders in 1969, serving as their President in 1979. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 32 degree.
There will be a private family service at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
