Jared Casey Spaulding

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jared Casey Spaulding on July 19, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Heather, his children James, Lukas, and Meredith Spaulding, his mother, Phyllis E. McFadden (Don), his brother, Justin (Jenelle), and niece, Sara, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Jared is preceded in death by his father, David C. Spaulding, and his grandparents, the Reverend C. Merton and Mrs. Lulu Ann Spaulding, and Owen Paul and Rosemary Allee.

Jared was born January 5, 1981, in Wichita, KS, and grew up in Colorado Springs. He attended Cheyenne Mountain High School and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During college he was Chair of the Colorado Federation of College Republicans. Jared had a deep faith and attended the First United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs. As a teenager, he loved singing in the youth choir and enjoyed touring the country to sing in other churches.

For the last thirteen years, Jared lived in Albuquerque, NM and worked for Hewlett Packard as an Inside Sales Representative. At work, he will be remembered as an instrumental and positive team member who used his quick wit and sense of humor to make his coworkers laugh and smile. He shared his dad’s love of Ford Mustangs and attending car shows. Jared was a Clan Murray member, an avid Broncos fan, and a history enthusiast. He enjoyed gardening in his back yard, cooking over an open flame, and many outdoor activities. Jared loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed.
