Jay Kyler Batte was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on December 9, 1990 to Rhonda and Larry Batte. A spontaneous and adventurous spirit, Jay loved growing up in Colorado and throughout his life continued to take full advantage of every extreme sport or activity he could. He was someone who worked hard, played hard, and loved hard.
Jay is preceded in passing by his mother, Rhonda. He is survived by his father, Larry Batte, stepmother, Vanessa Batte, sister, Shay Batte, brother, Dustin Lines, girlfriend, Lana Rensch, and countless family, friends, coworkers, and customers who will forever cherish his memory.
A celebration of Jays life will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs. Date and time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jays honor to the Colorado Children's Hospital or to Springs Rescue Mission.
