Jenny Shannon

Jennifer Victoria Shannon, known to all as Jenny, died on January 17, 2012. Jenny was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on March 27, 1995. She was a junior at Liberty High School, an incredibly gifted writer and artist, a straight “A” student and a member of the National Honors Society. Jenny was also captain of the junior varsity soccer team and was a coach to young girls for Pride Soccer. Jenny dreamed of becoming an engineer and attending the US Air Force Academy. She leaves behind a loving family: her mother and father, Kate and Kevin Shannon; her sister and brother in law, Lauryn and Jake Kress; her sister, Kaylie Shannon; her brother, Matthew Shannon and her dog Tolby. Also mourning her loss are her maternal grandparents, Harry & Dee Peterson, and her paternal grandmother, Patricia Shannon plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Her family wants the World to know that Jenny was a beautiful, wonderful girl who always deserved the very best and highest good….always. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 at Swan Law Funeral Directors. Family and Friends will gather at Black Forest Lutheran Church Saturday 2:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Jenny’s Life.
