John J. Morrissey 83, passed away on March 30, 2016. John was born on August 11, 1932 in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada, the son of David and Jane Morrissey both predeceased. John was predeceased by his wife Agnes Morrissey in 2014, brothers David, Ronald, Walter, Andrew, sister Barbara Vietch and has two surviving sisters Marguerite Burke and Patricia Andrews of Newfoundland.
John is survived by his daughters Ann Marie Weishaar of Alliance, NE, Yvonne Leigh Rozsa of Peyton, CO and a son. He has four grandchildren Elizabeth Brown, David Weishaar, Jonathan Weishaar and Thomas Morrissey-Nelson.
John spent 26 1/2 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Chief Master Sgt. He worked for the HQ Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base for 15 years as a Budget Analyst.
Private Services will be held for immediate family and close friends. The interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
