John T Warren was born 10-21-1950 in St Johns/NewFoundland Canada. He leaves us his wife Karen, daughter Autumn, two sons Jason & Patrick and grandson Caleb. His mother Eileen and sister Heather have come from Florida to be with us.
Growing up, John always enjoyed playing soldier. When he was 17, he had the opportunity to do it for real and he joined the United States Marine Core. He served 2 tours in Vietnam. After serving his country, he began a career with the Southern Bell company in Jacksonville, Florida.
He met his wife, Karen in 1975 and eventually moved to Colorado where they had their three children. John continued with the Bell company for 40 years. He enjoyed his work and he had a deep connection with the people he worked with. John had the extraordinary knack to put people at ease and make them laugh. He loved people and thoroughly enjoyed interactions with everyone he met especially his customers. His service awards were multiple due to his friendly nature, kind demeanor and warm-hearted people skills.
John's life was his wife, children, grandchild and his work. As his children got older and they asked for his help, he just beamed with the thought of doing something for them, no matter what the chore or request. His children lived for their father and he lived for them.
John and Karen were married for almost 35 years and every Sunday they enjoyed family dinners as a family. John's other love was guitars. He initially expressed his passion for music in a friend’s garage in Jacksonville, FL in the 60s and his love of music and guitars was with him always.
John had a tremendous sense of joy and completion when his grandson was born in 1996. He thoroughly enjoyed being a grandfather and cherished his time with Caleb. Just before his passing, he was to teach Caleb how to drive his first car. John will now be Caleb's Guardian Angel in every aspect of life.
John was Karen’s soul mate and her inspiration. He was her steadfast rock that helped her through thick and thin. He supported and loved her and the children and was always there to help them navigate through life's challenges. John is in heaven now, but we know he is looking down with a smile on his face saying "move ahead and make the best of life - I'll see you soon! "Karen says goodbye my dear sweet husband, father, grandfather and friend. God Bless and we'll see you soon.
