

Joyce was born July 25, 1946, in Womack Missouri to Virginia Lea Tucker and Paul Vernon Boren her She, her mother and her sister moved to Colorado Springs in 1960. Joyce graduated from Simla High School in 1964. She married Thomas Cline on July 9, 1964, in Simla, CO. Three girls were born to them, Robertta Lynn (Cline) Witham, on June 20, 1965; Christine Diane (Cline) Shelley on May 15, 1968; and Jennifer Leigh (Cline) Vanderpool on January 30, 1971. She lived in Colorado Springs from 1964 until moving to Falcon, CO in 1996. She worked, at the Union Printers Home cafeteria with her Mother; at Woolworth’s as a cashier; at the Chidlaw Building cafeteria with her Mother and aunt; and at Western Horesman Magazine with Tom, her husband. Through the years, Joyce and Tom enjoyed both square and round dancing together; camping; family vacation trips; sewing; and decorating clothing for friends and family.
Joyce will be buried alongside her mother in Fairview Cemetery. Joyce passed away October 15, 2013, in Loveland, Colorado after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Lee Roy Cline; three daughters and their Husbands – Mark and Robertta Witham; Christopher and Christine Shelley; and Jason and Jennifer Vanderpool. Nine grandchildren plus their spouses – Michael Witham and his wife Rachael; Cory Witham; Kaycee Witham Husman and her husband Nick; Sheldon Vanderpool; Holden Vanderpool; Darryan Vanderpool; Braedin Vanderpool; Brandon Shelley and Geniva Shelley.
Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Colorado Springs on November 9, 2013.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to the Pikes Peak Hospice or the First Christian Church.
There will be a public visitation from 11:30 to 12:50 Saturday, Nov. 9th at First Christian Church, 16 E. Platte, Colorado Springs. The service for Joyce begins at 1:00pm.
