She was born on November 13, 1945 in Fort Madison, Iowa to Chester and Pansy Kee. Karen was a daycare provider and a small business owner, but made her greatest impact as a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put her family first.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Pansy Kee, her sister Sandra Collins, and grandsons, Jackson and Harrison.
She is survived by her husband Jay, of 58 years, and her children Kevin (Becky), Eric (Allison), and Stephanie. She is also survived by her grandchildren Dannika (Josh), Jordan (Janie), Tyler, RuthAnne (Drew), Grant, Olivia, Ella, Gavin, Amelia, and her great-grandchildren Asa, Laken, and Paxton.
A Memorial Service for Karen will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Envoy Church, 2025 North Murray Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80915.
