Katia Dmitrenko

Katia was a very kind hearted, wise, loving, empathetic and joyful girl. She was such a loving daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, and cousin to all our families who surrounded her. My daughter was a caring friend, and she loved the world and people around her.

Since her very early childhood Katia has been a brilliant artistic soul, so talented in drawing, always fantasizing and creating in her mind majestic images, fairytale characters that she revealed on paper. Being an incredible artist, Katia loved anime and her dream was to become an animator and create cartoons.

Katia was an active part of her school Band, playing euphonium, she loved music, she was a part of a Color Guard team that she enjoyed so very much recently.

My precious daughter loved nature, birds, bugs, animals, and every little creature on Earth.

We miss her so much but she’s forever in our hearts, we’ll always love our Katia.

A graveside service for Ekaterina will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expy, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

A Reception is to follow from 3:00PM-5:00PM at Chapel of Memories, 829 S Hancock Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
