Connie enjoyed exercising and working out at the gym. She was actively involved with her church, First Southern Baptist Church. She also loved gardening, eating out, and going on trips with friends and family.
She is survived by son Mark and three brothers and two sisters in Japan. Kazue was married to William T. Barnes and widowed in 1998.
A visitation/viewing will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Monday May 11, 2015 at Swan-Law Funeral at 501 North Cascade Ave. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday May 12 at First Southern Baptist Church at 1409 Palmer Park Blvd. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 12 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
