Kellie Leigh Finley passed away on Tuesday, March 20th, 2012, quietly in her sleep. Kellie was
born July 27, 1969 in Milan, MO. She was 42 years old at the time of her passing. A resident of
Colorado Springs since 1994, Kellie was the sole owner of Quite Nice Family Childcare. Kellie was
a fulltime student at Pikes Peak Community College and enjoyed being outdoors. She loved camping
and fishing with her son, Joshua, who was the joy of her life.
She was an Assistant Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America Troop 2, here in Colorado Springs,
and received a proclamation award from Mayor Rivera for helping organize the “100 Years of Scouting” Boy Scout Show. Kellie was the daughter of Robert L. Finley (deceased) and Sandra Richardson. She is survived by her Mother, Sandra Richardson, Son Joshua Finley, Brother Robert Finley, Nephew Drue Finley, Grandmother June Richardson- Prunchak and numerous aunts, uncles
and cousins.
A private viewing for family will be held Friday, March 23rd, at Advantage Funeral and Cremation
located at 829 S. Hancock Ave., Colorado Springs, CO. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at 10:00 am, at the same location.
