Kimberly M. O'Connor

Kim was born on June 15, 1969 in Colorado Springs to Robert and Bonnie Guy. She graduated from Falcon High School in 1987 and from the University of Northern Colorado in 1991 with a degree in Elementary Education. Her teaching career started at Sunshine Learning Center where she taught Kindergarten, and then moved on to teach Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades at Stetson Hills, Remington, Ridgeview and Meridian Ranch Elementary Schools over the last 22 years.

While in college, Kim met Pat O’Connor and they married on June 6, 1992. God blessed this union with twin girls, Ashley and Rachel in 1999. Kim has always enjoyed camping, hiking and travelling in the mountains and spending time with her family. She was involved in the AWANA program for over 14 years, touching young lives outside of work too.

She joins her sister Beverly Weaver, uncle Roy Einspahr, grandparents Carl and Hallie Guy and George and Lucy Schrayer in Heaven and leaves behind her devoted husband, Patrick O’Connor; beautiful twin daughters, Rachel and Ashley O’Connor; parents, Robert and Bonnie Guy; brothers, Lee Guy, Jeff Guy (Claudia) and David Guy; brother–in-law, Rodger Weaver; niece, Lauren Weaver; uncle Philip Guy (Carmen), uncle LeeRoy Schrayer (Sharon), aunt Mary Einspahr and a multitude of cousins, relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service for family and close friends will take place at 1:00 pm at Eastonville Cemetery on Saturday, October 1, 2016 with a Celebration of Life following at 2:00 pm at Meridian Point Church, 5450 Meridian Road in Falcon.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a memorial fund set up in her name at Farmers State Bank in Falcon.
