She passed on July 15, 2014 at Sundance Skilled Nursing Home.
LaVerna married Donald Dwight Anderson of Kimball, Nebraska on November 14, 1946 where they lived till 1951 when they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She was a homemaker, where she enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and entertaining friends and family.
She was a Jehovah Witness and loved her ministry work for 67 years along with her husband and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by her brother, Darrell Siemsen (Neva) of Colorado Springs; sister, Lois Hickman (Max) of Glendive, Missouri; sister-in-law, Opal Anderson of Idaho; son, Robert Anderson and daughter LaDonna Evans of Colorado Springs, and Pam Ray (Gary) of Fleming, Colorado. 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 720 Crestline Colorado Springs, Colorado
