Linda married Michael McCarthy in 1975. They enjoyed a wonderful life together sharing travel and an exciting career in the industry they love, Network Marketing.
Linda lived a life of purpose and passion whether supporting Mike early on as his right arm in his various ventures in sales, while maintaining a home for their children, or later blazing her own career path. Her greatest joys were her, husband, sons and grandchidren.
Back in the early 80's Linda realized that the family needed a Plan B, due to Mike’s commission-only high stress career. So she launched into Network Marketing where she rapidly rose to the top position of 3 companies. In the last 6½ years Linda was blessed to find XanGo where she become one of the top 10 distributors worldwide out of a million plus in 34 countries.
She accomplished this in a quiet, purposeful and kind manner that belied the rod of steel running up her back.
In reaching this highest pinnacle of success in the industry, she always stayed humble and appreciated everyone for where they were, encouraging, nudging and loving them to success. Linda is famous for saying that most people do the best they can with what they have; a huge part of her success goes to her ability to love people for where they are at the time.
She will be so missed, not just by her loving husband, sons and grandchildren, but by her entire XanGo family.
She is survived by her husband, Michael McCarthy; sons, Randy and Scott Fishburn, Joshua McCarthy, all of Colorado Springs; brother, Roy Yates of Los Angeles, California; and two grandchildren, R.J. Fishburn and Tara Fishburn.
