

Born August 7, 1933, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Died August 11, 2012. She is predeceased by her parents Arthur Gideon Sharp, Jr. (1905-1987) and Geneva Prescott (nee McElwain) Sharp (1905-1960) and by her brother John Arthur Sharp (1938-1943).
Louie attended high school at an Episcopal girls’ boarding school, the Bishop’s School in La Jolla, CA, and graduated in 1951. She also attended Wellesley College and The Colorado College.
In November 1956 she married Robert N. Gordon, who died in November of 1957. They had a daughter, Geneva Kate, born in February of 1958.
In January 1966 she married Stanley Baker Myers. They had two sons, Arthur Christopher (1967) and Stephen Prescott (1969). Stanley died in January of 2005.
Louie was active in the Junior League and other volunteer activities. She tutored at the public library, recorded books for the blind, and knitted baby clothes for the hospitals. She was an avid gardener and reupholstered most of the furniture in her home. Louie had a quick wit and an educated sense of humor second to none. Never once did she attempt to teach a pig to sing.
She is survived by her daughter Kate Myers; her son Chris Myers and his wife Kristy and their sons Sean Christopher and Colin Andrew; her son Stephen Myers and his wife Stephanie Austgen; and her stepson Stanley Myers and his wife Maureen.
Services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012, 4:00 PM, at Chapel of Our Saviour Episcopal Church, 8 Fourth Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80906.
