Loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother. Friend to all she met, if even only for the moment. Marcia Murphy lived a full life as a District 11 school teacher and as a volunteer with the El Paso County Juvenile Diversion Program. Loved by all who knew her, Marcia passed away on April 9, 2017 after decades of bringing smiles, wisdom and comfort to others.
Marcia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth P. Murphy, of over 50 years. She is survived by five children and their spouses, Jim (Dawn) Murphy, Mike (Ginny) Murphy, Sharon (Neil) Luehring, Kent (Suzy) Murphy and David (Karen) Murphy, as well as ten grandchildren and their spouses and thirteen great-grandchildren. Marcia will be forever in our hearts.
