Margaret Anne Ciazinski, age 97, passed away on October 23, 2017 of natural causes in Colorado Springs. She was born in Denver, Colorado on January 31, 1920 to James L. Sweeney and Marguerite Lawrence Sweeney. She was the last surviving member from a family of seven other brothers and sisters who all preceded her in death. After graduating from Cathedral High School, she worked at Army Air Force Headquarters during the war in Denver where she met Joseph R. Ciazinski. They were married on June21, 1944 and she was a homemaker. She is survived by daughters JoAnne Ciazinski (Kirk Smith) of Danville, CA and Rosemary McDevitt (Tim) of Colorado Springs. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 1st at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2650 Parish View, Colorado Springs, CO. Marge will be fondly remembered as a kind, sweet and comical lady. We would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Morningstar Mt. Shadows Assisted Living and Suncrest Hospice for their excellent care and special attention given to her in her last months. ~
