So sad to hear of Mike's passing. I worked with Mike back when I was a very young officer in the Air Force. He was an incredible mentor to me, other officers, and every young enlisted Airman that he met. People like Mike leave permanent impressions on how to be a great leader and community servant!

In the process of searching for Kamiah High School 1977 graduates for our 40th  class reunion, I discovered that Mike had passed. He will be remembered by his classmates as a kind, quiet friend to all.  I am truly sorry and saddened to hear of his death.

With deepest sympathy.  I will miss you Chief.

Mike was such a great friend and co-worker.  Always willing to help a friend.  He was a hard working man and never backed away from a challenge.  We ALL miss him dearly.

I was stationed with Mike in 1987-88. He was a great guy and lots of fun to be around. Like so many of my Air Force brothers we had lost touch over the years. I am heartbroken by his passing.

Mike's light shined extremely bright at work, with concise yet well placed effective humorous words that showcased his consideration and uniqueness as a human being. These qualities easily placed Mike in the top 1% of folks contributing to a professional and effective workplace. You are missed Mike, peace and prayers.

I worked with Mike for many years, and perhaps had my best personal moments with Mike outside of work.  He was always the kind of person who would do anything for another.  

My first 'outside of work' experience with Mike was when he volunteered to help me a few years ago finishing off some drywall at a local animal sanctuary -- he did most of the work and taught me along the way.  Then later Mike joined our group of volunteers with the Colorado leg of our cat and dog rescue often driving the van from Colorado Springs to Trinidad to Boulder and back to Colorado Springs.  As an example of the kind of man Mike was, he adopted 2 of the transportees and especially was bonded to one named 'Tex'.  When his life commitments would preclude him from helping with one of the transports he on several occasions offer to pay for the rental van or help with the gas costs.

I'll miss you at work Mike.  We volunteers and the many doggies and cats will miss you on transports.  I'll certainly miss calling and asking your help or advice on things requiring various skills I lack that you were always there to help me on.  You set a good example for all of us to look out for and to help one another.

I am better for having known you Mike.  You touched many - probably more than you knew.

Just a small sentiment to give back a little 'light' to offset the light Mike gave to the world.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Mr. Clark. Our loving God knows the pain of your hearts and has comfort for you in His word the bible. "For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus."-1 Thessalonians 4:14. It is my hope this this passage, along with your loving memories of Mr. Clark, gives you comfort and your hearts a measure of peace.

I am saddened to hear about Mikes passing. I learned first hand how great a guy Mike was. I will never forget Mike and Lisa's generosity and kindness. Rest in peace Mike.

Mike was an amazing man. Helped me in a time of need. In Nomeni patris et filli spiritu sancti . 

Mike was always great to work with. I knew when he was on board I didn't have to worry about getting the mission done. Smart, competent and compassionate, what more could you ask for? Mike and Lisa dogs were and are always cared for. Mike will always be honored in my heart. He will be missed.

I'm deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Mike, as I was just trying to reach out to him recently to get in touch again. While stationed together at Luke, AFB in Glendale, AZ many years ago, my wife Ann and I literally spent almost every weekend with Mike, boating, going to movies, or just hanging out on his couch if we had nothing else to do. Mike is the type of exceptional friend you don't come across too often, and he felt more like family even early on when I first met him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, and I will certainly never forget him.

Knew Mike when he lived in Nebraska.  Great guy!

I know that Mikey was well loved and respected by numerous people. He was a unique individual that had great character and a huge heart. Mikey always put a smile on my face and will continue to do so whenever I think about him. He will be missed very much. God bless you Mikey!

Mike has helped our PAWS group transport animals from an overflowing shelter in Texas to rescues in Colorado.  He enjoyed the dogs and was always very helpful to everyone who was working the transport.  We will miss his caring presence and heart.

Mike was one of the first people I met when I PCS'd to Colorado Springs. Great guy, always took the time to stop and say hello and ask how I was doing. Saddened by this terrible loss. God Bless Mike!! Rest In Peace my friend.
