Michael Adrian Daniels, 73, was born in Huntington, W. VA on March 29, 1953. Michael graduated from Huntington High School and joined the Airforce and proudly served his country as a Services Specialist for 20 years, retiring as a Tech Sergeant in February 1992.
Michael traveled the world during his time in the military, and the Lord sent him to Peterson Airforce Base where he met the love of his life Cheryl Queen and they were united in marriage October 4, 1994.
After retiring from the military, Michael was employed by Johnson Controls and then he gained employment with MCI as a Facilities Manager. MCI was his happy place, he loved his job and all the people he worked with, and he built some long-lasting relationships that still exist to this day. He worked at Verizon and USAA before hanging up his hats and settling into full retirement in August 2020.
Michael loved singing in the Payne Chapel Mass Choir and the Men's Choir. He would also sing with Village Seven Presbyterian Choir on special occasions. He served on the Trustee Board at Payne Chapel and would help out wherever he was needed.
Michael enjoyed traveling with his wife, family, and his friends. He was quite the pickle ball player; he would play 4-5 times a week along with lifting weights at the YMCA. He loved his 49’ers and was a die-hard fan, winning or losing, he never gave up on his team.
