Michael Mudd

Michael Dean Mudd husband, father, brother to all died on February 23, 2016, at home in Colorado Springs due to complications from heart surgery. Mike was born in Colorado Springs June 1, 1949 to Tom and Lee Mudd. He is survived by his wife Pat Mudd, daughter Jennifer (Dennis) Howatson of Cheyenne WY, son Patrick (Mackenzie) Mudd of Dayton WY, brother Daniel (Chelly) Mudd of Buena Vista CO. Grandchildren, Mikayla Howatson, Taylor, Riley, and Parker Mudd. As well as nieces Erin and Kate Mudd, and his beloved dog Dakota.

Mike graduated from Palmer High School and went on to Adams State on a basketball scholarship where he received a bachelor’s degree in Education. Mike occupations were teacher, coach and realtor. The love of Mike’s life was Pat as testified by his 45year marriage. He was dedicated to his entire family and was extremely proud of his daughter Jennifer and son Patrick. He was a true friend to so many, but his love and dedication to his four grandchildren was his primary focus.

His passing has left a hole in the family fabric that can never be repaired. We love you Mike and our hearts are broken.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 2030 W. Colorado Ave. at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 1st. Reception will take place at the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #309 3400 N. Nevada Ave. at 2:00p.m.
