Michael "Mickey" Stuart Smiley

Michael “Mickey” Smiley, age 75, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2026. Mickey was born April 11, 1951, in Flagler, Colorado, the eldest child of Arwin Decker Smiley and Charlotte A. Smiley.

Mickey is survived by his loving wife, Debbie, to whom he was married for 53 years; his brother, Terry (Jeanne); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

He was a graduate of Palmer High School. Mickey met Debbie in Junior High School, and they were married in 1972. Together they shared a love for camping, jeeping, fishing, riding motorcycles, hunting, water skiing and in more recent years, golfing, which became their passion.

Per Mickey’s request, no memorial services will be held. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or Compassus Hospice Care.
