Milton B. White

Milton Baird White, age 97, of Peyton, Colorado, went to meet his maker on Tuesday, December 6th, 2011. Milton was born February 14, 1914th, to Edwin and Della White of Petersburg, Texas. He married Ima Faye Acuff on August 6th, 1935 and lived in Clovis, New Mexico until they moved their dairy operation to Colorado in 1947. They then lived in Limon, Matheson, and Elbert. After Ima Faye passed away in 2003, Milton moved to Peyton, Colorado. Milton and Ima Faye had 6 children: Darrell White (Charlotte), Delle Andersen (Darrell), Linda Keller (Norman), Kay Royston (Dewaine), Joel White (Sandy), and Dixie Artamenko (Jack). He had 16 grandchildren: Rodney White, Tanya Scott (Jud), Renee Nadon (Alain), Roger Anderson, Jeannie Stone (Craig), Deanna Nicholson, Janet Smith (James), Arlene Miller (Arthur), Betty Houston (Mark), Janell Poe (Randy), Valerie Rauber (Steve), Rhonda Forsyth (Mike), Karin Royston (Will), Stephen White (Barbara), David White, and Dan Artamenko (Nicole). He also had 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and 10 siblings.

Viewing will be from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M. Sunday afternoon December 11th, 2011 at the funeral home: Mountain View Mortuary; 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 12th, 2011, at the funeral home: Mountain View Mortuary; 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO.

Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 12th, 2011, at the Elbert Cemetery (also called the Elbert-Kiowa Cemetery) north of Elbert, CO.
