Naoma May Ford

Our precious mother, Naoma May Ford, passed away at the age of 73 after a lengthy, courageous battle with breast cancer on Sunday, May 29th, 2022.

Naoma was born on July 29th, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to Kenneth Ordell Ford and Helen May Ford. She is survived by her sister Glenda Ford, two daughters Mary Anderson and Lisa Buhring, son-in-law Clint Buhring, 7 grandchildren: Ethan Berry, Kayla Tornabene, Emily Berry, Madyson Buhring, AnnaSophia Berry, Clara Buhring, Liliana Buhring. Other members of the family include former Spouse Air Force Retired Major Richard J. Poturalski, and his wife, Donna. She also leaves behind her devoted dog, Mitzi, from the Mill Dog Rescue.

On Monday, June 6, 2022, a viewing will be held at 10:00 am, rosary service at 10:30 am, mass at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at 12:00 pm at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church - 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of our mother to St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care (2550 Tenderfoot Hill St. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906), or National Mill Dog Rescue (5335 JD Johnson Road, Peyton, Colorado 80831).
