Nathan Eric Olson

October 3, 1979 - April 21, 2011

Nathan E. Olson; 31, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on April 21, 2011 in his home.

Nathan was an active member in the community; volunteering at Sunny Rest Nursing Home, ministering to the homeless for the past 7 months, and attended Rocky Mountain Calvary Church. Nathan touched lives everywhere he went, whether it was at the local Village Inn, the places he worked, the fire stations he visited, or the medical offices he attended; he will surely be remembered by many for his contagious smile, impeccable memory, and selfless heart.

Nathan is survived by his parents Philip and Nancy Olson, Renee Lujan and Patches Pena; sister Sarah and niece Layla; Grandparents Clara Olson, Leroy Davis; Uncles Jaime (Marcia) Lujan, Bo and Mike (Terri) Olson, George (Jane) Stampados; Aunts Maria Bain, Debbie Marburger; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Henry and Anita Lujan, Kenneth Olson, and Rosemary Davis; and Uncles Hank and Lyle Lujan.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00am at Rocky Mountain Calvary Church, 4285 N. Academy Blvd Colorado Springs, CO 80918. Reception at the church immediately after. Internment at 2:30pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. If preferred, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Easter Seals Colorado.
