

Neal Lousberg passed away on February 16, 2015, doing what he loved; running with his wife who was the love of his life. He was born on October 6, 1971 to LeRoy and Joanine Lousberg in Sterling, Colorado. He went to Fleming School, K-12, graduating in 1990. From high school, Neal went to the Northern Jr. College for 2 years. He then continued his education at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, receiving a BS in exercise physiology. Neal decided his education wasn’t complete and he headed to New York to receive a BS as a Physician’s Assistant, which was his greatest accomplishment.
In 1992, Neal met Heather Keen who he married on June 25, 1994. To this union they had one daughter, Kylie Larissa and one son, Brody Rhett. Neal’s family was very important to him. Neal, Heather, Kylie and Brody spent time running, vacationing and anything they could do as a family. He also loved his four-legged princess Stella. Neal was a devoted family man. He was also very devoted and caring in his job as a PA at the State Penitentiary in Canon City, Colorado.
Neal is survived by his devoted wife Heather of 20 years, his daughter Kylie, his son Brody and Stella. He is also survived by his parents, LeRoy and Joanine; his brothers, Dale (Tammy), Ronald (Connie) and Alan (Tina); his sisters, Sharon (James), Beth (Kevin) and Clarissa (Lon); in laws, John and Grace Keen, sister in law Mindy (Jeff) and brother in law, Ryan (Tandi); 26 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and nephews and numerous aunt, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his four grandparents, Heather’s grandparents and a niece. A Visitation will be held, Thursday, February 19th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with Funeral Services as well the following day, Friday, February 20th at 1:00 p.m. and burial to follow services.
