

Pamela Jean (Carlson) George, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 24th 2012. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 24th, 1954. Her early years were spent in Utah and then in 1967, her family moved to the Boise, Idaho area where she graduated from Borah High School in 1973. In 1984 she married Gary George of Boise, Idaho and soon after moved to Santa Maria, California where they began their family. The family moved to Black Forest, Colorado in 1991. Pam was an avid lover of reading, teaching, serving in various callings in her church, rubber stamping, and having fun with family and friends. She will be remembered most for her outgoing personality, humor, laughter, generosity, positive attitude, and charity. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, daughter Erin (Eleucadio) Vargas of Mesa, Arizona, sons Clayton of Denver, Colorado and Garrett and Spencer George both of Black Forest, Colorado. She is also survived by her parents, Clifford and Barbara Carlson of Sandy, Utah, sister Cathy (Ron) Hollister of Boise, Idaho, brother David (Clydine) Carlson of West Jordan, Utah, sister Janet (Dave) Traylor of West Jordan, Utah, brother Gary (Bernadette) Carlson of Marlborough, Massachusetts, sister Lori (Lou) Iannucci of Charlotte, North Carolina, mother-in-law Rae Heck of Eagle, Idaho, eight nephews and eight nieces and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Black Forest, Colorado, 6950 Shoup Rd, 80908 on Friday, June 1st 9:00-9:45 am. Pam’s life will be celebrated following visitation at 10:00 am. Burial to follow services at Eastonville Cemetery 12558 Meridian Rd Elbert, Colorado 80106.
