Patricia Harper Bowen-Williams, 73, passed away in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 15, 1947 in Goodland, Kansas to Paul and Catherine Harper.
When she was a youngster the family moved to Hastings, Nebraska. There she attended Spencer Park and St. Michaels Elementary Schools. In 1958 the family moved to Colorado Springs and she attended Lincoln Elementary, Corpus Christi Grade School and St. Mary’s High School, graduating in 1966.
Patricia started working for the Civil Service in 1966 at the Admissions Office at Ft. Carson. On July 16, 1966 she married Arlie Bowen. She transferred to the Transportation Quality Control Office until 1973 when she resigned to have their 4 children. She returned to work in 1975 as a Chief Adjudicator for the Claims Office at Fort Carson as a Shipping Clerk in Quality Control until 1981 when she became a Quality Control Inspector at Ft. Carson and later transferred to the Air Force when JPPSO-COS was organized.
In November 1989 Arlie passed away. She married Jim Williams on July 4, 2003 after a long relationship and Jim passed away in September 2004.
Patricia retired from Civil Service on March 31, 2001 with 33 years, 3 months and 25 days of service.
Patricia enjoyed working in her yard, bowling and reading as well as spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her family meant the world to her and she cherished every moment she had with them.
She was predeceased by her parents, both husbands, her brother Paul Harper Jr, and great granddaughter Krysalin. She is survived by her children, Paula Pullara (Will Hart) of Colorado Springs, Pamela (Brett) Mattern of Williamsport, PA, Catherine (Chris) Rivera and David Bowen (Tia) of Denver, Co as well as grandchildren, Miranda (Hawk), Anthony, Amber, Destiny, Walter, Shelby, Sean, Cassie (Adam), Raina, Creedance and great grandchildren, Seth Jr, Caristola, Cynthia, Maria, Lexi, Adrian, Serenity, Delilah, her sister Beverly (Gary) Grant, her brother George (Becky) Harper as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs.
