She was born on December 17, 1984, to Toni Kimerling and Frank Prenot.
Rebecca lived in many places throughout her life — born in Oklahoma, she moved often before eventually planting roots in Colorado, the place she came to love and call home.
Family and friends were always at the center of Rebecca’s world. She dedicated her life to creating lasting memories, both for herself and for the people she cared about most. Rebecca was best known for her loud laugh, her even louder voice, and her bold, outgoing spirit. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel like a friend — she truly never met a stranger. To know Rebecca was to know joy; her smile was contagious, and her hugs could heal just about anything.
In her younger years, Rebecca could often be found working on cars or spending her time at race tracks surrounded by friends. She had a creative soul and found peace in scrapbooking and crafting — anything that allowed her to quiet her mind and express herself.
Rebecca’s memory will live on in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the countless lives she touched.
She is survived by her daughter Jazmyne Harper; her beloved granddaughter, Ez’Ariah Nova “Tooka”; her parents, Toni and Ross Kimerling; her father, Frank Prenot; and her brother, Josh Prenot.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, where family and friends will gather to honor the beautiful, bold, and unforgettable life of Rebecca Ann Prenot-Wright.
God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered, ‘Come to Me.’
Even though her laughter may no longer fill the room, her love will echo in our hearts forever.
