Richard Hicks

Richard Keith Hicks, 45, of Colorado Springs, passed away on March 21, 2011. Richard was born on September 16, 1965 in Colorado Springs to Jerry and Wanda (Joyce) Hicks. After graduating from Wasson High School he married Kim Pyles and together had one son, Matthew.

Richard was an extraordinary loving man. He was always supportive and caring and highly respected by all. He was known to be a very dedicated and hard working man. Known as an amazing servant leader in the corporate world, Richard was the manager of one of the highest grossing Popeye’s Chicken locations. He always took pride in his work and loved to stay busy. Richard enjoyed helping people, working on his house, fixing up cars, spending time watching football with his family and woodworking.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Kim; son, Matthew; father, Jerry; brothers, Jerry and Tom; sisters, Margo, Kathy and Kim and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Hicks.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80913. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 28, 2011 at Mountain View Wesleyan Church, 3445 Oro Blanco Road, Colorado Springs.
