Bob graduated from Wasson High School, Colorado Springs, CO, in 1964, and then received his Bachelors degree from Colorado College in 1968. He attended the Claremont Colleges, Claremont, CA, where he earned his Masters and Doctorate degrees.
Bob had extensive knowledge in the printing industry and worked in this field for many years. The last 30 years he worked at Mt. San Antonio College, Walnut, CA in many positions related to IT.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Louise Hutton. He is survived by his sister, Janet Comer, nephews John Shunk, James (Emily) Shunk,a great nephew, and a great niece, all of Colorado Springs, CO.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Rocky Mountain Calvary, 4285 North Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs,CO, 80918.
