

Robert Wayne Jarvey, 64, left this world unexpectedly on June 17, 2021. He was born on April 3, 1957, to Norman and Betty (Long) Jarvey in L’Anse, Michigan. On June 25, 1977, he married Carmen Warner. They celebrated almost 44 years of marriage with two daughters, Jessica Ann (Michael) Spain, Nicole Lynn (Luis) Jarvey-Rojas and four granddaughters, Madison & Danica Spain, and Bethany & Emma Jarvey-Rojas, all of Colorado Springs, CO.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, sister Norma, and infant brother Charles. He is survived by his sisters Mary Presley, Kathy (Ted) Hokenson, and Janet (Jim) Froberg as well as Aunt Virginia (Bill) Sonier, all of Michigan. Also surviving him is a sister-in-law Andrea and brother-in-law Dwight Warner, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Robert Served 12 Years in the military. He spent 4 in the U.S. Air Force as a Metal Fabricating Specialist. 8 in the U. S. Army as a Motor Pool Staff Sergeant. While employed by TCC he designed the logo you may have seen on their trucks. He was then employed by the City of Colorado Springs Fleet Management and Serco as a Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician. Robert was an exceptional mechanic.
Robert was a 2nd Generation Knife Maker and Leatherman. He learned this skill from his Father, Norman. There are many people who have and will treasure his craftmanship.
Robert loved hunting, especially The Annual Bird Hunting Trips with the Guys and his Granddaughters. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings Fan. Robert has left a big hole in our Hearts and will be deeply missed.
The family plans to have a private service at a later date. Donations may be made to the Pikes Peak Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
