Robin carter on December 20, 2024. Robin Lakay cobb was born on
January 28, 1963, in Selma, Alabama, sharing a birthday with her twin
Brother Rodney—a connection they cherished all their lives.
Robin was a woman full of warmth, kindness, and light. Her love
For Jesus, her family, and life’s simple joys touched everyone she met.
On November 27, 1981, she married the love of her life, Jon. Together,
They built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and memories,
Raising their three sons in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Robin dedicated her career to caring for others as an oncology
Nurse at rocky mountain cancer center. She made an incredible
Difference in the lives of her patients, many of whom described her
As a source of comfort and hope during their hardest days. Her
Coworkers admired her compassion, dedication, and joyful spirit,
And she formed lifelong friendships with so many along the way.
To her family and friends, robin was lovingly known as “birdie.”
The nickname suited her perfectly, as she brought sweetness and
Happiness into every room she entered. She found great joy in the
Color red, daisies, Cher, and the scent of baby dolls. She loved the
Smoky aroma of a campfire, the beauty of the mountains, and
Celebrating holidays with her family. Christmas and easter were
Her favorite times of the year, and she poured her heart into
Preparing meals, games, and gifts for everyone she loved.
Robin had a way of making people feel special. Her smile could
Brighten even the hardest day, and her love was felt by everyone
Lucky enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her
Parents, Lester and Nina cobb, and her mother-in-law, Sheila carter.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jon; her sons, Chad (Sarah),
Wade (Amy), and Todd (maria); and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Seth,
Arya, Isaac, Rose, Claire, Stella, Esther, and James—her pride and joy
And the light of her life. Robin is also survived by her siblings,
Tracy, Rodney, and Greg; her father-in-law, Jim carter; her sisters-
In-law, Cindy miller, Sonya (bobby) boozer, Trudy carter; brother -in-
Law Tracy carter; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Though our hearts are broken, we find peace knowing robin loved
Jesus with her whole heart and is now with him in heaven. Her faith
Guided her throughout her life, and we rejoice in the promise that
We will one day be reunited with her. Her legacy of love, faith, and
Kindness will continue to shine in all of us.
