

Rose Marie Hancock, 82, went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2013, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born August 11, 1930, in Colorado Springs to the late George and Cleo Johnson. The eldest of three girls, Rose is preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Zvertinick, and survived by Dorothy Crow. She and her husband, Lawrence, were married on February 11, 1950, and were joint owners of Hancock Moving and Storage for many years prior to their retirement.
As a loving mother, Rose instilled a lasting legacy in her children: daughter Rhonda Combs; husband Doyle, and son Loren Hancock; wife Leslie, all of Colorado Springs. This spiritual heritage has passed down to her eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Rose was a devout Christian, serving actively in her local church and on the board of Christian Women’s Club for many years. She thoroughly enjoyed life and making memories with family and friends alike.
The family would be honored for you to join them in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at
10:30 a.m.; Swan-Law Chapel; 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO. Visitation will be held at Swan-Law on Friday, March 1, 2013, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
