Ryal (Bud) was born in Stafford, Kansas to Chris & Bertha Eggers on 6-19-1927. He married Maxine Bentley on June 17, 1954 in Clayton NM.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Army. He was stationed in Germany. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for 44 years. He was involved in Operating Engineers Local #9 for 67 years. He was a member of AOPA and loved flying his airplane.
Ryal is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Vernon Eggers, Jerry Eggers, Danny Eggers, and a son Dennis Eggers.
Ryal is survived by his spouse, Maxine; a son Michael & his wife Tonya Eggers; a daughter Shelley and her husband Bill Nykiel; a son Gary and daughter-in law Pam Eggers. Three grand-children; Wolfe Eggers, Tymbre Eggers, Takoda and her husband Emi Nicolae, and their daughter Salem Nicolae. Three step grandsons; DJ, Nathaniel, and Gabe DeSantos.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday Sept 27th, 2024 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home.
