She attended school in Colorado Springs, and received her GED in Texas. She also attended Blair college where she received her Associates Degree.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She loved to dance, music, play cards, dominos, and loved to be around family.
She is preceded in death by her mother Wanda; brother Clifton Young; uncle Robert Bryant; aunts Geneva Jarmon, and Sandra Scott.
She leaves to cherish her, her father George and step-mother Dr. Symenthia; 3 step-siblings De'Marion Jones, Jacquese West and Rodrick Jones; 1 niece Serenity West; 1 nephew Nassir West; 4 uncles Afrus Bryant, Larry Young, Robert Bryant, Willie (Linda) Bryant, and Peter (Regina) Bryant; 2 Aunts, Bobbie (Louis) Robinson and Jackie Bryant; she also leaves behind a host of cousins and friends.
A funeral service for Sherika will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
