It was on Thursday July 20, 2017, our beloved Teri Kenney left us to be with the Lord.
A long time resident of Colorado Springs, since the early 1970's, she was a very talented lady.
As owner and award winning artist of Chantilly Lace Doll Fashions, she specialized in heirloom sewing and custom Victoran doll costuming.
As a passionate supporter of the World Wild Life Federation and the ASPCA, she also supported many organizations to save the elephants.
Teri enjoyed a love of sport cars and, with her husband John, she was also a proud owner of them.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Schmidt and close sister Patricia Potts.
Teri is survived by her husband of 41 years John Kenney, daughters Tara Peterson, Kim Napier, son Scott Galbraith, nieces Kristiane Schmidt- Carapeti and Sheree Stevens, nephew Scott Schmidt, brother Richard Schmidt, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 27, at 10:00am, in the Swan-Law Chapel, in Colorado Springs.
