Thomas Justin Fowler left us unexpectedly in January 2007, at age 27, after suffering a brain aneurysm. He was born in 1979 in North Dakota and lived in various places with his military family, ultimately settling in Colorado Springs. He attended Doherty High School where he participated on the swim team. From a young age he was curious and adventuresome and spent time on family camping trips seeing much of our great country. He enjoyed bowling from an early age, participated in scouting and little league, and later in life came to enjoy fishing. Tom was passionate about electronics, particularly computers and after graduating obtained several Microsoft and other certifications and worked for various companies. He loved the ocean and moved to Florida, where he and his roommate had a beautiful apartment overlooking the Gulf Coast. He was a strong willed and independent person who lived life passionately. Tom loved people most of all and was thought of as the life of the party. He had a good heart and was always ready to help someone in need. He was loved deeply and dearly and his sudden passing will leave a void in our hearts that can never be filled. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary Alice and Melvin T. Fowler Sr. Survived by mother Mary, father Melvin T. Jr., sister Elizabeth, son Keeton, maternal grandmother Betty Murray, and various aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
