Thomas C. "Tom" Knight

Thomas “Tom” C. Knight, devoted husband and father, departed this life for his heavenly home on June 5th after a brief illness. Tom was born in Durango April 28th 1937, and spent most of his life in Colorado. After graduating from St. Mary’s, Tom served his country in the Marine Corps, then spent his life in support of his family and had a long career at Hewlett Packard. One of the fondest memories of his daughters' was when he acted as a parent leader for a young girls’ group called Y Indian Princesses where he was known as Dancing Bear. His love and devotion to his family was always evident, and his gentle smile and happy greeting will be sorely missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two children, John and Cathy. He is survived by his wife, Marge; two daughters, Terri and Robin; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, and four sisters.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish, 2320 N. Cascade Ave. Viewing is from 9:00 - 9:30 a.m., with a Rosary 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.
